ScrollMate is a Chrome extension that auto-scrolls web pages on demand. This page explains exactly what data the extension handles.

ScrollMate uses Chrome’s local storage API to remember your last preferences, so the popup reopens with the values you set:
This information is stored only on your device, is never sent anywhere, and is removed when you uninstall the extension.
activeTab — grants temporary access to the currently open tab only when you click the ScrollMate icon. Required to inject the scrolling logic into the page you want to scroll.scripting — required to inject the content script into the active tab when you press “Start”.storage — used solely to keep your preferences locally (see above).ScrollMate does not request host permissions for any specific domain. It only runs on the tab where you explicitly start it.
ScrollMate does not embed any third-party tracker, analytics SDK, advertising library, or remote code. All code runs locally in your browser.
ScrollMate does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature requires additional permissions — the change will be reflected on this page and in the published version of the extension. Each release that affects this policy will be reviewed by the Chrome Web Store before reaching users.
